On Monday our Buildings Team said goodbye to the site of Spain's Field Farm in Weardale. It has taken around 4 years for the farm to be deconstructed and moved to the museum, ready to be rebuilt as part of the 1950s developments.

Paul, Cassie, Shannon and Paul (and Reg the dog) met up with Alan Jopling and Brian Raine for a final farewell. Alan's family kindly donated the building to Beamish and Brian's family lived in the farm - he was the last person to be born there!
