I'm going on 3 straight weeks without a gym workout, and you know what? I'm totally ok with that. Sometimes self love means pushing yourself to get up and get active even when you don't feel like it, but other times, it means giving your body and mind the opportunity to rest and process. Emotions can be exhausting- especially if you're a sensitive empath.??(why must I feel everything so deeply!?) So instead of pushing myself in ways that feel unhealthy just to meet a goal or upkeep an aesthetic, I'm practicing self love by slowing down and tuning into my body, mind, and soul. My mom has been reminding me lately that "time heals all" and "time itself takes time." So if you have been stuck or dealing with something that has required you to fall off track with your fitness routine, don't stress it. I know it seems like time slows down when you're in the thick of it- trust me, I'm there with you. Just keep taking it day by day and always "trust the process." Be authentic, take responsibility for your own happiness, listen to your intuition, do something every day that makes you smile, and practice daily meditation. Health and wellness is just as much about mental care as it is physical fitness.✨ - BTW! I must say that I am SO looking forward to resetting on the next #31daypbpu that will be starting in August!????
