Photo @クリス・バーカード You can feel the rawness of the Aleutian Islands, their cold volcanic terrain is some of the most rained on in the United States. The land is filled with wide open spaces home to seabirds, otters, sea lions, and walruses. I grew up in an area with a lot of farm plots and ranches similar to this one, and they always give me a comforting feeling of home anywhere in the world I see them. Places like these show me how important it is for us to remember to take care of nature and all the creatures who inhabit it along with us.
