Reunited with these beauties today in Concepcion at ACAM today. This is Azucena to my left and Cristina with Santos Mendez photo bombing in the corner. These women are some of the founding members of the Association of Mam Speaking Midwives who established this initiative in 2004. I visited a year ago and that inspired a grant from @everymothercounts which supports the mobile clinic and training of clinical and administrative skills for the Midwives.
