Eliud Kipchoge crossed the finish line at 2:00:25, just shy of hitting the 2 hour mark and 2 minutes 32 seconds faster than the current world record. Zersenay Tadese finished at 2:06:51, beating his personal best and LeLisa Desisa finished at 2:14:10. The bar was raised today in the world of running and in human potential.
