The organization is one of the country’s leading child-welfare organizations and has been on the forefront of efforts to help girls in crisis by providing counseling, shelter and defending them in court. Countless studies have shown that supporting girls’ education provides overwhelming returns in terms of health, economic growth and peace-building, both for the girls personally and for their communities.
