Photo by @jenniferhayesig A small group of King penguins have trekked high above a crowded beach to rest on grass covered ground in Gold Harbour, South Georgia Island. There are an estimated 100,000 king penguins in this colony. King penguins the second largest penguin (emperor is largest), eat small fish, squid and some krill (they really like lantern fish).
