CARDIO & GLUTE ACTIVATION ? Activating your glutes before a workout is important for optimal glute growth (booty gainnnzzz ?). Other great glute activation exercises include glute bridges, fire hydrants and resistance band work. I started this routine with interval work on the treadmill (1 minute sprint, 1 minute jog) for 10 minutes. Walking lunges on the treadmill (low speed). Stairmaster glute activation – 30 sec per exercise.
