Has spring sprung where you are? Regardless, here's hoping you enjoy a view into the frozen winterlands of Alberta from our Instagram ambassadors @twowheelednomad. Lisa writes, "Bubbly jubbly. This frozen 20 square mile body of water, Abraham Lake, seriously twisted my melon: come wintertime, it's full of trapped methane bubbles (not Jason's—my marvellous other’s), suspended within a foot of ice. Beneath which lies crystal clear waters about 65 feet deep and big trout that come cruising to the ice ceiling, attracted by our illumination. Quite surreal—well worth freezing our maracas off for.
