Sarah Burton’s A/W17 collection for @アレキサンダー・マックイーン paid tribute to pagan landscapes and ancient Cornish heritage, and took particular inspiration from “Cloutie” ribbons – strips of cloth hung upon trees to represent the hopes and dreams of those who have tied them there.
