Last but by no means least in @margueritelondon’s takeover for International Women’s Day next week, it shines a spotlight on @valerianapoleone, the patron of female artists and Founder of Valeria Napoleone XX, which brings work by female artists to museums in England and the US. “Opposed to solely buying art, Valeria has really immersed herself in artists’ lives since she began collecting in the mid 90s. Back then, she would find herself cooking for the artists she befriended at ad-hoc gallery spaces and is now known for her incredible dinner parties where she unites London’s art world. We therefore thought we’d pick an image from her recipe book titled ‘Valeria Napoleone’s Catalogue of Exquisite Recipes’, which celebrates her love of female-made art and food: Salad by @lindersterling, 1977.” #internationalwomensday
