世界遺産にも登録されている天龍寺の境内には、四季の移ろいを楽しむことのできる「曹源池庭園（そうげんちていえん）」があります。庭園は嵐山・亀山を借景として取り入れており、お寺から一続きの非常に大きな庭園のように感じられます。この庭園の作庭は約700年前と言われており、現在も当時の姿をとどめているそうです。曹源池には竜門の滝・鯉魚石を配しますが、実際の恋も優雅に池を泳いでいました。

In the precincts of "Tenryu-ji temple" which is selected as a World Cultural Heritage site, there is a "Sougenchi-teien Park". In the park, you can enjoy beautiful scenery of all four seasons united with Ranzan moutain and Kameyama Mountain. Countinued seane of the park and the moutains make the park's view really large. Foundation of the park is about 700 years ago and the shape has not been changed between these years. At a pond of the park, there is a carasteristic rock that symbolise a carp, however we found many of real carps there.
