On the next #QuestloveSupreme we have Professor #DanCharnas (credited with being one of the FIRST hip hop journalists) he has written the bible called #TheBigPayback a book chronicling the journey of all the business transactions, movers and shakers, comings and goings in the world of hip hop. It's essential reading (I personally believe it was the inspiration behind the #Hamilton phenomenon for it was he that saw the parallels of Al Ham's life as a story more akin to hip hop than anything else) He is currently the creator of @Vh1's #TheBreaks (@thebreaksvh1 the series detailing the early 90s era of the culture. In between we go through his entire journey as music exec of #ProfileRecords & #AmericanRecordings w #RickRubin. He was also part of both hip hop radio staples #FridayNightFlavas w #TheBakaBoyz & #TheWakeUpShow w #SwayAndTech. He was part of the writing staff of MTV's #LyricistLounge. Currently he is teaching a course on @JDilla at @nyuniversity. Most importantly he is a hip hop head to the bone.
