The key to achieving boulder shoulders is building some serious deltoids—the three muscles at the front, rear and back of your shoulders. This workout from Arizona-based trainer @Alexia Clark attacks the shoulders from multiple angles with minimal rest in between sets. That kind of volume is guaranteed to make your muscles grow. Perform the exercises below in the order listed, resting as needed.
1️⃣Dumbbell 3 hand-position press, 10 reps
2️⃣Barbell forward-behind ladder press: Do 5 reps forward, then 5 reps behind, then 4 reps forward, then 4 reps behind, repeating that pattern and counting down to 1 rep forward and behind.
3️⃣Dumbbell alternating front raise, 10 reps per side
4️⃣Plate press to overhead raise, 40 seconds
