"Running an ultra goes way beyond my own accomplishment.  It is a journey shared with people in my life and Owen is a huge part of this journey.  He hears me leaving in the early mornings to train, he hears me talk about my strength training sessions, he hustles from aid station to aid station. My races are our races and it is awesome when we can celebrate together by crossing the finish line together. I run for smiles and high fives from him."
