Although the #iggypoplifeclass instructor Michael Grimaldi used a timer to mark the end of the pose, Iggy kept track of time by singing his songs to himself. Since he knew the exact time of each song, he could tell when a pose was coming to an end. “I had a set list. I was just picking out songs. I’d come in and I’d think, Well, let’s try ‘The Passenger.’ How ‘bout ‘No Fun’? I had ‘1969’ in there. I had ‘Gardenia,’ from my new record. And as I told them I knew, ‘Well, that one takes four minutes and fifty seconds.’ —#IggyPop
