Wandering the rice fields at Soulshine is one of my favorite things in the world. There are so many little creatures that live in them crabs, lizards, dragonflies, butterflies, fish, frogs, birds and an infinite variety of plants. Learning the process of rice growing and witnessing all its stages has given me a deeper gratitude for every grain I've ever eaten and for every farmer who has sacrificed to make it possible.
