How steep is steep? ?Just ask Richard Permin. Here he is skiing a massive line on Chatter Creek in the Canadian Rockies, famous for producing some of the lightest, driest powder in the world. Permin is an acrobat skier, a backcountry pro, a Frenchmen with a penchant for big mountain lines. He’s also a star of the film ‘Days Of My Youth’, which sees him and his snow pals travel far and wide to chase adrenaline highs and explore the furthest, steepest, snowiest reaches of the sport, with exhilarating results. The film even won him a Powder video award for Best Natural Air, but he’s staying humble: “it's [a film] about everyday #skiing fun that every skier can relate to.” Okay Richard, if you say so.
