By Day 3 of traveling to a remote place, I usually crave one small piece of home ?... it's a temporary feeling that passes quickly.
My trick is to bring one small piece of North American candy ???or to make a familiar family dish. This is my attempt at putting some Asparagus & Eggs on the ?, common food in my family's village. Of course, the asparagus wasn't freshly plucked from the fields like the ones I snacked on this past spring, but it was just perfect fuel for moving on with the rest of my travel & adventure. ?
