#BKMConservation has been using many multiband imaging techniques to identify various blue pigments and colorants used in a number of objects on view in our new #infinitebluebkm installation. This video loop shows one of our ancient Egyptian funerary stelae viewed under natural light, regular visible light with infrared, false-color infrared, and VIL images—each of which allow us to distinguish materials we can't see with the naked eye.
