#Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is stepping down. Schultz first joined Starbucks in 1982 as director of operations and marketing when the company only had 4 stores. He will be replaced by current President and COO Kevin Johnson -- but Schultz isn't leaving the company entirely. He intends to continue contributing to the company's "retail innovation" as executive chairman. Interestingly, this will not be the first time Schultz has vacated the CEO role: He had previously served as the company's chief executive from 1987 to 2000, but he returned to the position in 2008. What does this mean for Starbucks? ? Tune in to our #EXCLUSIVE interview with #HowardSchultz & #KevinJohnson, TOMORROW at 7:30a ET, only on #CNBC.
