May have been the best exhibition I've seen this year. I walked into the gallery without any knowledge of the concept beforehand: through the dark lit corridor with beds made of lead, rooms with film rolls, spiral staircase adorned with worn out clothing...Even though the subject matter evoked war and disasters, I felt a strange surreal sense of euphoria.
Later I found out that the exhibition was in indeed referring to the place in Norse mythology, a paradise for those slain in battle.
