Today we would like to introduce the new item that came in stock at Omotesando.
We would like to introduce the "BANKSY MONKEY SIGN" from the brand "Sync" which is a brand of Medicom Toy suggesting various items using artwork and design of artists from all over the world.
This is a poly-stone statue inspired from the graffiti of"BANKSY", an anonymous artist from Bristol, UK who is mainly working at London.
"MONKEY SIGN" is based on "LAUGH NOW" which is a commission piece of the night club "The Ocean Rooms nightclub" made in 2002. By the way, "LAUGH NOW" itself has been auctioned and successfully bit at 45 million JPY on November 2013. It is one of the most popular and valuable piece in the works of BANKSY. This figure faithfully reproduces the nihilistic face of the blind chimpanzee just like the original graffiti.
