It is a rainy day here at Omotesando.
Today we would like to introduce the "PORTER PARAMOUNT PACKER", which is a series of water repellent bags that would be perfect to use on a day like today.
The outer material is Cordura® Nylon Oxford fabric with tear strength and frictional strength. The lining is "GORE® Fabric for Bags". The GORE-SEAM® TAPE (sealing the stitches) is applied after the bag is sewn so it would avoid water from coming into the main room.Generally there are many limits to the construction of the bag in order to maintain its high waterproofing performance, however for the first time, this series applies an inner bag falling into the main compartment from the top. Also there are many outside pockets and a roll-top closure yet still cleared the climbing rain test (artificial rain test) by W.L. Gore & Associates.
Not only in town, but it would also be highly recommendable outdoors, such as mountain climbing etc.

本日はそんな雨天時におすすめの防水構造カバンのシリーズ「ポーター パラマウントパッカー」をご紹介いたします。
表地は引裂・摩擦強度に優れたコーデュラ®ナイロンオックスを使用し、裏地にはゴア®バッグ用ファブリクスを使用しています。縫製後にゴアシーム®テープ加工（縫い目を密閉する目止め）をすることで本体内部への水の侵入を防ぎます。
高度な防水性能を有するには構造上の制限がありますが、縫い目のある防水構造カバンとして初めてメイン収納部の口元から内装を落とし込む方法を採用して外装ポケットを充実させ、開口部をロールトップ式にすることでバックパック型でありながらも日本ゴア社の定める登山用レインテスト（人工降雨試験）をクリアすることに成功しました。
通常のタウンユースはもちろんのこと、登山などのアウトドアシーンでも機能的に活躍します。
