I’m really looking forward to @soulfoodscholar and @ailsavond’s demo of Zephyr Wright’s chili recipe. She was President Lyndon B. Johnson’s cook for 27 years, including during his presidency. She was a college-educated, African American woman who traveled frequently with the First Family, sometimes through the Jim Crow South. @soulfoodscholar and @ailsavond will share the full story on Saturday.
