What can I say, Croatia has won my heart! I needed a place to sneak away, and Dubrovnik was calling my name. Many of you may know this walled city from seeing it’s white stone streets & vibrant red rooftops in the ever-so-loved show, Game of Thrones. I now know this old city as a beautiful & relaxing place where I spent countless hours getting lost in the maze of historic passage ways. Finding holes in the city wall that led to cliffside tables overlooking the Adriatic Sea. With the ocean below me I would sit at the edge of Old City for afternoons into sunsets, just soaking in the beauty of this place. For days I walked the streets in awe of the structures that surrounded me, gaining inspiration with every corner I turned. This view, of the Church Of Saint Blaise, had me at hello! I kept returning to this spot & knew almost immediately that this was what I wanted to draw to remember my time spent in Croatia. I fell in love with this view in the daytime, but became fully enamored once I saw it lit up at dusk. I have to say, my drawing does not do this place justice. Please…save your money, pack your bags and visit Dubrovnik. I promise you will love it!
