FUGAZI at Maxwell's in Hoboken NJ. This was the second time i saw them play and the first time i decided to make photographs. This one ended up on the inner sleeve of the first fugazi Ep and i believe on the compiled 13 songs LP as well. 6/30/88 was the night of this show and if you go to dischord.com you can get the recording of this very show. Before this i had seen them play at Columbia University in NYC, which was perhaps one of the very first shows outside of DC. There were a few dozen people at these early shows, and i believe by this time Guy was an official member of the band as well. Some great photographs from this night were made, the best ones in my book "KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN The Fugazi Photographs of glen E. friedman" and photographs made from this show through many others to their last on US soil, all kinds of situations, compositions and film stocks. This book is seriously fucking amazing. Please chime in!
