Today is the International Day of the Girl Child. In order to empower girls build better lives for themselves and their communities, Miraikan initiated the "Picture Happiness on Earth" which aims to provide a place where young girls from Japan and the Asia-Pacific region can cultivate their scientific thinking through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. The results of this project will be displayed on the Geo-Cosmos, Miraikan's symbol exhibit, this coming November.
今日は国連「国際ガールズ・デー」。女子がよりよい人生を切り開くことができるよう、未来館は、日本やアジア・太平洋地域の女子中高生に向けた、科学的な思考を育てられるようなプログラム「Picture Happiness on Earth」を実施しています。このプログラムで制作された映像作品は、地球ディスプレイ「ジオ･コスモス」にて11月に上映予定です。
