Wet cranberry harvest is happening now in eastern Massachusetts. The bogs are flooded so that the berries can get paddled loose by the little bog buggies (seen here) and float to the surface. Most of the cranberries in North America are purchased and marketed by Ocean Spray, a cooperative that was founded in the early 20th Century.
