Photographers capture a different dimension of sports when they turn their cameras around to focus on the fans. Here is one of the greatest photographs ever taken at a sporting event, yet it is one of the worst moments in sport's history—the Heysel Stadium disaster which occurred prior to the start of the 1985 European Cup. “All the people in the picture got out,” the photographer, #EamonnMcCabe, recalled, “but the next group got hurt or killed.” His reportage of the event won him News Photographer of the Year in 1985 and second prize in sport news in the World Press Photo contest. #whoshotsports
