This National Park is one of the strongholds of Bornean #Orangutans, which recently been elevated to CRITICALLY ENDANGERED status after last years severe fires and habitat loss across Borneo. Benny is six years old and still travels with his mom. I have been photographing him since he was a baby. They are part of researcher Cheryl Knott’s long-term Gunung Palung Orangutan Project.
