photo by @chamiltonjames / Charlie Hamilton James. Tourists this morning photographing themselves and the view at Schwabachers Landing in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. By damming the river, beavers have created a series of large ponds at the base of the Tetons which provide photographers with a stunning reflection and backdrop. Every morning photographers arrive before dawn to capture the first light as it hits the top of the mountains. Personally I like to photograph the tourists and photographers. To step in front of them means I’d get a nice landscape shot, free from humans but to step behind them and put them into the image means I get, perhaps, a more realistic view of the scene.
