I have recently received awful news that my mother has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Something I was hopeful to be cured quickly, turned into somethings she will be fighting the rest of her life.
If you know me, you know how much I love my mama. How much time we've spent together. She has sacrificed so much for my dreams and has supported me in every avenue of my life. Whether it was singing lessons, dance, or acting. She would drive me 3 hours every Saturday to acting classes to sit there and wait for 5 hours. And then drive another 3 hours home. Her and my dad sold everything we had to move to LA to pursue my career. She took up random jobs so she could work from home so she could drive me to my auditions. She has worked all of her life to support me and my sisters. She has worked in hospice to help the elderly and their families get through difficult times. She has worked with the special needs in middle grade, and has fostered many kids who need a home and a meal. She is known as "Momma Droke" all the way from Texas to Los Angeles. She has the BIGGEST heart. She is a lover, a friend, a confidant, and a hard working, go getting fighter. In my eyes she is super woman!
It pains me to see my mother have to go through this battle with cancer, but I know how strong of a woman she is and I have faith that she will make it through this.

Right now I want nothing more than for her to recover through this process with out any financial burdens or added stress. To hear the word "cancer" is hard enough, but to then ask "how am I going to pay for this?" should be the last thing on her mind. So I am asking you for your help.
