It is a World Heritage Site filled with small islands and shallow coastal waters. Its unique geographical location makes it the most important breeding area for birds on the Atlantic seaboard and the richest fishery on the west African coast. The local Imragruen fishermen that live within the park harvest the migratory fish populations using traditional sailboats like the one seen here. It's definitely off the beaten path but an incredibly beautiful travel destination that is worth the effort. #worldphotoday
