This conversation showed me how much work needs to be done. These officers were very respectful to us. One was even a fan of mine. We asked some very real questions about police training, the murder of black citizens, the volumes of footage on many of these acts. I can't say we ever got a clear answer. We all obviously had different perspectives. But we did create a peaceful dialogue between men. I pray this will continue on a broad scale until we see real community policing amongst safe & satisfied citizens.
