It’s a #SharkWeek peek into the archives! “Seated in fossil shark jaw restoration” was photographed by H.S. Rice in 1909. This early reconstruction of the jaw of C. megalodon vastly overestimated the size of this extinct predator, which scientists now believe may have reached 50-60 feet in length.
