Our hearts go out to all those affected by the brutal Orlando massacre—the families and friends of loved ones lost or injured and to the whole LGBTQ community who have long struggled for their rights. May this hateful mass murder strengthen our resolve to join together to protect these freedoms. In the face of this terrible tragedy, the New Museum re-affirms its support of LGBTQ activism, artistic expression, and non-conforming ways of living and being.
