#SWEETTOOTHSUNDAY TAG SOMEONE WHO LOVES POP TARTS My type of "HEALTHY" Pop-tarts - INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup Protein Protein Powder 3/4 cup Almond Flour 1/4 cup Stevia 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup coconut oil Splash of almond milk 1 eggs (for coating) FILLING: @Nutella, @FlavorGod chocolate donut GLAZE: 1 tsp flavored extract, 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/2 cup confectioners Swerve, @Flavorgod - DIRECTIONS: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Then add coconut oil and slowly tbsp by tbsp add in almond milk to form a stiff dough. On parchment paper, place 8 balls of dough a few inches apart. Shape with hands into rectangle shapes (size of a PopTart). During the process of forming the pop tart shape, keep a small bowl of water near by to wet dough slightly and/or finger tips, this will keep dough from sticking to hands. Beat an egg and brush it over the entire surface of the rectangles. Even the “insides” of the tart; the egg is to help glue the top on. Place a heaping tablespoon of filling into the center of each rectangle and then sprinkle the Nutella with chocolate donut @Flavorgod seasoning. Place a second rectangle of dough atop the first and use a fork to press down on all around the edge of the poptart. Repeat with remaining tarts. Gently place the tarts on parchment-lined baking sheet. Prick the top of each tart multiple times with a fork; you want to make sure steam can escape, or the tarts will become fluffy pillows instead of flat toaster pastries. Bake for 10-12 minutes in oven, until edges are lightly browned. Cool in oven to crisp up. While it bakes, prepare the glaze. In bowl, place coconut oil, extract and confectioners Swerve and mix well. Then top off your pop tart with more FLAVORGOD chocolate donut seasoning! Set aside to cool a bit. Spread over Pop Tarts.
