This is Will Brady.. He is the other fighter we lost just hours ago. @vinnyfasline and I got to know Will and his incredible family while visiting @childrensla and he made an immediate impression on everyone around him.
Will was funny, tough, compassionate and cool. He understood his surroundings and instead of letting it make him sad and bitter he used that part of himself to encourage other kids, parents and nurses to think positive always.
I can not express how appreciative I am to Will and his family for welcoming me in and letting me share in both laughter and tears with them. Just a day before, as we all sat around Will who was silent for the entire time, until suddenly he blurted out a memory of when he was a little kid and we all laughed! He battled over Leukemia and the drugs in his body to keep him comfortable as well as being totally exhausted to be apart of this time together and THAT is a fighter. #RIPWILL
