This is a #beforeandafter of Caroline and Cole Carper, siblings who both have a rare disorder that would one day leave them blind. Both children enrolled in a clinical trial for a new gene therapy treatment pioneered by Spark Therapeutics. Now two years after surgery, Caroline says she can once again see individual snowflakes and Cole can read large text.
