Photo by @Spono. Good morning and happy #EarthDay from #EmoryPeak in #BigBendNationalPark! I had the opportunity to spend a week camping throughout the amazing park for my 30th bday and was blown away by the vastness, solitude, and epic vistas the park threw at us. We left camp at 5:45 am to scramble up to the top in the dark just to catch hints of #sunrise as winds and fog rolled through. It was a beautiful site to see, but couldn't help but notice all the notches and initials left in this old soul tree on the top. The best part of nature is it's raw unfiltered and untouched beauty. I hope everyone out there stays to #LeaveNoTrace practices so we can keep Mother Nature happy!
