#MagdaleneOdundo is a ceramic artist interested in the global history of pottery and in artists’ relationships to clay as a medium. Born in Kenya, raised in India, and educated in Kenya and England, she draws her inspiration from the pottery traditions of the Nupe and Ganda peoples of eastern Africa, of Native American pueblo peoples, and of peoples of the ancient Mediterranean.
