Anyone who has followed me for a while on social networking knows how I am enamored of crows, crow experiments, and crow YouTube videos of all types. Now thought to be on par with chimps and dolphins in terms of intelligence, they have unique problem-solving skills and perhaps better memories than any other animal. I was therefore overjoyed this weekend to make a new pal in Groo at @noahsarkclub. Groo was injured as a chick, raised by hand by humans, and unable to return to the wild. He now makes his home in a huge space with rabbits and a cavy, all of whom he bosses around. He's one of the over 1,500 animals Noah's Ark has given a second chance at life.
