I moved to Los Angeles 6 years ago to chase my dreams. I had no clue the amount of highs and lows I would see before I started seeing momentum. No one could have made me believe that it would take 6 years before I'd see momentum and it would happen at the oddest time: after becoming a wife, 4 months after becoming a mama, and 1 month after losing my grandpa who raised me.

Alas, the time is now.

Next week we will launch the campaign for my show Viscera. Viscera is the first black woman lead superhero. Even cooler, Viscera will be a choose your own adventure series. The Audience will decide the ending. I'm super nervous. I don't feel ready. I don't know how this will all work out. But I know it's time
