My dearest dearest ones. This is what happened.

We had some dreams about how many copies of Love Warrior you might order when we announced the book.

You blew our dreams out of the water BEFORE we made the public announcement. By ten am. Just from the response to the newsletter.

Then we posted the announcement and all day the numbers kept climbing and climbing and at first we were squealing and dancing and OH MY LORD-ing and then—after a while—we just got really quiet because it got kind of crazy. No one could believe what we were seeing. Your outpouring of support was quite literally unprecedented.

You guys loved me so big. It feels really, really amazing, to love you hard and then know that when I need you—you will show up so big and strong and dependably and beautifully. It means a hell of a lot to me, to Sister, to Amy, to Allison and Liz. Thank you.

Here is what I have to do. Although it is very unusual—I have to end the special edition offer soon. It’s just that if I don’t—I could be signing books until Amma graduates high school.
