“Who was Nespeqashuty and how did part of his tomb end up in Brooklyn?” Looking at the reliefs and inscriptions, we know that Nespeqashuty was a vizier (the highest ranking official in the bureaucracy) more than 2,600 years ago. His tomb was excavated in 1923 by @メトロポリタン美術館 and in 1952, @ブルックリン美術館 acquired much of the west wall and fragments of the east wall. #askBKM
