Susan Sotheran has been involved in Girlguiding in North Yorkshire as a volunteer since 1961 - encouraging and inspiring many children to become involved with @girlguiding.
She was District Commissioner of Cleveland County Girlguiding for 22 years, and in 2013 saw years of dedication come to fruition as the purchase and development of a county campsite was completed.
Today, Susan received her MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) at Buckingham Palace from The Prince of Wales. Congratulations!
