Setsubun is usually on the 3rd of February. It is the day before Risshun, which is the start of spring, and the last day of Daikan, the coldest season of the year.
Setsubun literally means “dividing the seasons.”
Usually, on the day of Setsubun, people throw roasted soy beans, crying out “Demons out! Good Luck in!” Then they eat beans as many as their age.
This ritual is meant to purify the home by driving away evil spirit and bringing in fortune and health.

今日は『節分』
幼稚園児の末娘がすごく張り切って居るので今年もやらなくちゃね( ˊᵕˋ* )
節分の料理って何がいいんだろうね〜恵方巻きとイワシくらいしか思いつかない(´-﹏-`；)
とりあえず地味な感じに仕上がりました（笑）
