Picasso took inspiration from many cultures and incorporated them into his own works. The iconic “Les Demoiselles d'Avignon” 1907, on view at @themuseumofmodernart shows Picasso's love of the unique forms found in African masks, many examples of which can be found on display in the @AMNH's Hall of African Peoples.
