And he was just a bad person. I try to learn from that. Become a better person in life through the examples that you were given before, if they weren’t good, make yourself a better example. That's pretty much been my life goal.” M: “You’re living out on the streets now?” Micah: “Yeah, pretty much. It originally started with me wanting to see the country, see around me. But overall it really was probably just a means for me to try and run from my problems. There was a lot of stuff in my life changing. My grandfather was passing and he was very important to my mom so she was gone all the time for a straight two years and he was going from skin cancer to lung cancer, cancer, cancer…And then it's just…I had a job and then I got fired and then schooling was very difficult…So my whole life all in one moment was starting to collapse around me. It just got really, really overwhelming. And then I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm trying to get my life back right now. I'm trying to rekindle all the old things that I was starting up. 'Cause when I went to school before all this, I wanted to become a chef. I love the idea of making delicious food for people and making them smile, make them happy. Just at the time when I was originally doing it, it just...It was too much.” M: “You are staying away from drugs?” Micah: “I mean a little bit of pot every now and again 'cause it's relaxing. But anything hard, anything harsh, anything that could actually hurt my body...no. Martial arts is my biggest hobby in the world, it's my life in a way, it's what directs me in trying to calm myself before trying to calm the world around me. And it's just...the idea of using any form of synthetic [drug] is unacceptable in my mind 'cause it just takes away from everything that we are as humans, the greatness that we are.” .
